CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Ewen is a Creative Director & Director best known for creating bold and dynamic work in a plethora of styles with a keen focus on kinetic cinematography and strong storytelling.
Prior to WERE, he spent 13 years at legendary creative studio Golden Wolf, where he played a key role in shaping the studio’s signature 2D animation style and tone, and had the pleasure of leading a wide range of high-profile and award winning projects for many of the world's most loved brands, artists and networks.
His own illustration style has always been rooted in character design, with a strong focus on crafting expressive, dynamic figures, which naturally evolved into a passion for movement and character-driven storytelling.
His time before Golden Wolf is largely shrouded in self-imposed mystery but included a brief stint competing in various live art battles around Europe.

CHARLES BIGEAST
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
French illustrator turned Creative Director & Director, Charles settled in London in 2013 where he’s been making his way downtown in the animation world for over 10 years.
After some time at VFX powerhouse The Mill, his love for 2D animation lead him to join the Golden Wolf crew in 2017, until autumn 2024 marking the beginning of his freelance life.
At GW, surrounded by some of the most talented nerds to walk the Earth, he learned to lean into his influences and truly found his tone of voice.
Coming up in the plastic infused 80s & 90s, his imagination has been fuelled by pop culture ever since, and he now finds his happy place in projects that allow him to tap into the weird, dark and/or funny.
Passionate about experimenting with all kinds of styles, he’s a firm believer that the tone and narrative should dictate the visuals of any project.
While at Golden Wolf, previous clients include: Adult Swim, Big Time Creative Shop, Amazon, KFC, Google, Wendy’s, Supercell, Illumination, AICP and Disney.

ALICE ISAAC
MANAGING DIRECTOR & EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Probably best known as a professional paper cutter and opinionated loudmouth, Alice has had a wild and wonderful career trajectory.
Having initially trained and worked as an editorial and SFX make-up artist, she moved into project manager and production roles at leading design and animation studios. After 10 years working in production she made a career U-turn in 2017 and returned to a creative path - but this time as a Collage Artist, Animator and Director in her own studio.
She counts amongst her high profile clients the likes of Nike, Hulu, Converse, Spotify, The Mercury Prize, Vice, Prada and Selfridges.
Not satisfied with running and managing her own successful studio for the past 7 years, Alice is now adding another studio to her list…
